Removal of Protein related Smoke Odors: Pretest all target items and surfaces in an inconspicuous area for adverse effects prior to overall applications.
1. Low pressure spray (not fog) a dilute solution of Double O (3-4 oz. per gallon of water) onto pretested surfaces and items. An alternative application technique involves dipping a clean terry cloth towel into a dilute solution of Double O wringing out excess liquid, and wiping over odorous surfaces. Pay special attention to odor sources such as the stove, vent hood, interior/exterior of kitchen cabinets, burned or heat damaged areas, the ceiling, etc. Add Double O to wall cleaning solutions, and to water based solutions used to clean structural surfaces and contents items. To suppress protein odors throughout the premises spray carpets, and other horizontal surfaces with a dilute solution of Double O.
2. To assist in airborne odor control, lightly sprinkle a small quantity of Crystal Odor Counteractant throughout affected areas.
3. Spray furnace filter with dilute solution of Double O and place a small container of C.O.C. adjacent furnace blower. Severely contaminated furnace systems may require further cleaning and sealing.
4. For best results, thermally fog with Thermo-2000 Citrus or Thermo-55 Citrus.
Removal of Protein Odors from Launderable Materials: Add 2-4 oz. of Double O per load, add to wash cycle.
Spoiled Food Odors in Refrigerators: Double O is useful in the cleanup and salvage of refrigerators/freezers in which food has decayed. Dilute solutions of Double O may be contact sprayed onto contaminated surfaces. Add Double O to the cleaning solutions as needed.
Sewage Related Odors: Dilute Double O with water as needed and contact spray onto contaminated items and surfaces. Add concentrated Double O as needed to odorous standing water.
